The international yoga day has been recognized Globally, and it aims to inform people that how much Yoga helps them to live a calm and relaxed life.

History of international yoga Day:

The idea of International Yoga Day was first proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 27, 2014, during his speech at the UN General Assembly, where a resolution to establish June 21 as International Yoga Day was introduced by India’s Ambassador, Asoke Kumar Mukerji.

The date of June 21 was chosen as it is the Summer Solstice, the day where there is the most Sun out of every other day of the year. Overall, it received support from 177 nations, the highest number of co-sponsors for any UN resolution, proclaiming June 21 as the International Yoga Day.

On this yoga day, the Prime Minister of India and thousands of people have done yoga exercises in the clock tower of Dehradun.

In the end, I am concluding by sharing my views that most of the people prefer different medicines to get relief from their depression and become the habitat of those drugs which are just killing them slowly and gradually inside. So they should avoid depending on these defective drugs and try to do Yoga. Yoga is the best solution to control the physical and mental health of humans. Once you start to do Yoga, you will become addicted to it and feel more relaxed.
